However, if you want to quickly upload and download files to and from your Web site, then Internet Explorer has an easy to use FTP function - allowing you to drag and drop files as if you were using Windows Explorer.
In the address bar, type...
ftp://username:password@ftp.yourdomain.co.uk
...replacing username and password with those supplied by Fairweather Web and ftp.yourdomain.co.uk with your domain name. When connected you can open Web Folders and drag files from windows explorer.

Quick Connection
In Smart FTP, enter your ftp address in the Address Box on the Toolbar (usually ftp.yourdomain.yoursuffix)
Enter your Password in the Password Box on the Toolbar
Enter '21' in the Port Box on the Toolbar
Make sure the Anonymous Check box on the Toolbar is unchecked
Saving Connection Information
Choose Edit from the Favorites Menu
In the Edit Favorites Dialogue, choose New from the Favourite menu and select Favorite Insert
Right Click on the New Favorite name and choose Rename and rename the Favorite to something appropriate.
Right Click on the New Favorite name and choose Properties
Enter the ftp address in the Host Box (usually ftp.yourdomain.yoursuffix)
Enter 21 in the Port Box
Enter your user name in the Login Box
Enter your Password in the Password Box
Make sure the Anonymous Check box is unchecked
